Jake and Drew, professionally known as Two Depressed Kids are American rappers, singers, and songwriters. Originally from Chicago, TDK is a new-aged alternative rap group. Inspired by urban culture icons that have mastered the art, including Wiz Khalifa, Green Day, and the late Mac Miller, the dynamic duo continuously look to their inspiration, genius, artist intuition and wide range spectrum to fuel their chameleon-esque alter egos. Described as pleasantly offbeat and optimistic, the team is a new wave for hip-hop culture.

Writing since the age of 12, the new 1st & 15th members morphed into maturity a few years later. This season of transition has birthed a force within the group that perpetuates a message to be shared with the world. Throughout TDK’s lyrics, themes of mental health and struggle are apparent. “Everyone has their problems and demons. It’s universal. Whoever, where ever, there’s hope amongst hopelessness. We want our music to be that missing link of inspiration.
